Definition

Recipient to whom the document is forwarded automatically.

Use

In this field you specify to whom documents are forwarded automatically. You have various input options:

  • First name and surname (address name)
  • SAPoffice user
  • SAP user

Appropriate authorizations are required for the following entries:

  • Fax number
    Enter a fax number in the following format: <Country><Number>, where <Country> is an identification code for the international dialing code with a maximum of three characters, for example us06227/34-1704.
  • Internet address
    An Internet address can, for example, appear as follows: miller@our.firm.us.
  • X.400 address
    Enter the individual components separated by ";", for example
    g=anna;s=miller;o=c11;ou1=m000;p=firm;a=hp;c=us.
  • Remote SAP name (SAP user in another system)
    Enter the system ID, client, and SAP name separated by a colon, for example c11:000:henry.

Procedure

Examples

There are various ways in which you can enter address names:

  • Enter the complete name or only the first name or surname
    • george
      All users are listed whose first name is "George". Users with the surname "George" are also listed.
    • miller
      All users called "Miller" are listed.

Note

If the first name or surname consists of several parts which are not connected by a hyphen, you must connect the parts with *. Example: You want to display all users with the surname "Van Dyke". Enter van*dyke.

  • Generic entry (with *):
    • a* b*
      All users are listed whose first name starts with A and surname with B, or whose surname starts with A and first name with B.
    • jon*
      All users are listed whose first name or surname starts with "Jon".
  • Entering the company name
    Please observe the following conventions:
    If you only enter the company name or the company name and first name or surname, two commas must be entered before the company name.
    If you enter the first name, surname, and company name, you do not need to enter any commas.
    The company name must always come last.
    • , ,testfirm
      All users are listed who are Testfirm employees.
    • miller, ,testfirm
      All users are listed who are Testfirm employees and are called "Miller".
    • don Mi* testfirm
      All users are listed whose first name is "Don", whose surname starts with "Mi", and who are Testfirm employees.

Dependencies

You can assign the entry an identifier in the adjacent field, except in the case of address names.
