Definition
Date on which the document is automatically deleted.
Use
By specifying an expiration date for documents whose information value is limited in time, you reduce the load on the system and decrease your own clear up work.
Dependencies
When creating a document the value specified in the shared office settings is pre-set. The value can be overwritten when creating or changing the document.
Shared folders and the outbox contain specifications for the retention period of the documents they contain. If this expiration period has lapsed, the affected document is still deleted if the expiration date assigned to it specifies a later time point.
The retention period for the documents stored in the outbox is specified in the shared office settings and can only be changed by the administrator.
