Definition

Indicates the processing trigger for sending the outbound message.

Use

When the calculation of the replenishment proposals is done, the value of the processing trigger for sending determines further processing.

Possible values are

  • A: Automatically

    This means the system sends the figures of the time series Shipping Forecast to the customer automatically.

  • B: Automatically via batch job

    This means report SMI_BATCH_PROCESSOR sends the 'Shipping Forecast'. This report should be scheduled periodically.

    Note that if you use this parameter, you need the report to process these materials, otherwise they remain in the system unprocessed.

  • M: Manually via transaction

    This means the system stops further processing (sending) the material. You can send the material manually using the SD SMI Monitor.
