Documentation
Definition
This field determines whether the system creates an alert for a specific error message.
Use
The user can specify whether the system is to send alerts for a certain error message.
Dependencies
If the user sets this flag for a certain message, the system sends an alert to the user IDs assigned to the SAP standard default category SMI_DEFAULT.
You can use transaction ALRTCATDEF to create and maintain alert categories, assign user IDs, and so on.
In the SMI profile maintenance you can save your own alert category, which is used when this profile is active for a material / XML message.
