Definition
Percentage specifying what proportion of the current requirements should be covered from the warehouse stock.
Use
The service level is used by the system for calculating the safety stock.
The higher the service level is, the higher the system calculates the safety stock to be, in order to balance out additional consumption and delivery delays.
