Definition

Indicates the result of the ES Rep. Mapping Check for a specified Service Implementation Workbench (SIW) project. The ES Repository mapping

status is only relevant for the service creation types API-based.

Use

The following ES Repository mapping status can occur:

  • No entry

The system leaves the field open, if the service creation type does not use any mapping.

  • Green icon

The system displays the green icon, if the mapping in your backend system is complete with all names entered in the system (see mapping completeness), and if all mapping elements of the service signature exist in the Enterprise Services Repository (ES Repository).

  • Red icon

The system displays the red icon, if there are any inconsistencies of names of your project data, or if any mapping elements do not exist in the ES Repository.

To correct erroneous elements, open the Service Implementation Workbench, open your project in the project tree and navigate to its mapping node. All erroneous elements are displayed red colored. To correct the mistakes, proceed as follows:

Check if you have entered the names of the erroneous elements. If not, enter them.

Check if the erroneous elements do exist in the ES Repository. If not,

    check

your local namespace in the ES Repository and insert the missing

    elements

into it. For further information, see the documentation of Service Implementation Workbench on SAP Help Portal at http://help.sap.com -> SAP NetWeaver -> Service Implementation Workbench.

Dependencies

The system automatically executes the ES Repository Mapping Check when

you select Generate ES Repository to generate the service

interface in the Enterprise Services Repository of the service in ES Repository. You can

also start its execution in transaction SIW when you select the

ES Repository Mapping Check pushbutton.
