Definition

Signifies the prefix of the intermediate data type (IDT) of your project. You define this prefix to differentiate projects from each other. When you create a new project, Service Implementation Workbench (SIW) suggests you an IDT name.

Use

The SIW checks the prefix in the following three situations:

  • If you select the checkbox Check Mapping of the SIW Monitor report,
  • If you select the pushbutton Check Mapping in the menu bar of transaction SIW,
  • If you select the pushbutton Go to ES Rep. in the menu bar of transaction Service Implementation Workbench (transaction code SIW).

Dependencies

Naming conventions for IDTs depend on service properties and on the IDT position within the request/response message.

Example

Examples are the prefix <FS> for Financial Services and <CRM> for Customer Relationship Management.
