Definition
If you select this checkbox or if it is activated, the system displays all SIW projects of the specified configuration ID and does not allow to edit them.
Use
The Transaction Service Implementation Workbench (transaction SIW) and the API of Service Implementation Workbench evaluate this checkbox.
If you want to forbid all maintenance activities (change, delete, create), activate it. SAP recommends the activation also, if you want to freeze certain configurations, with all its dependent projects.
Dependencies
Example
You use SIW exclusively in a supplying development system and want to transport only the generated objects. In this case you activate the checkbox to freeze all configurations in a productive system.
