Documentation
Definition
The column selection allows you to specify how many columns are displayed with which attributes and in what order.
Use
For example, you can specify that your folder is to be displayed with the Viewed attribute, title, and author in exactly this order. You can also vary the way in which the columns are displayed (column settings). This includes the width of the column and whether it should be displayed as a graphical symbol.
Procedure
- Double-click on one of the columns under "Remaining columns".
The column is inserted under "Displayed columns / width / symbol". If required, you can change the width and specify that the column should be displayed as a graphical symbol by selecting the checkbox. You can also select further columns, if required. - If you have selected other columns, you can change the numbering:
- Select a column below "Displayed columns / width / symbol".
- Choose the function Move column.
- Place the cursor on the column above which you want to position the selected column.
- Choose the Move column function again or double-click on the target column.
