Definition
Organizational area to which you can assign a class.
You can limit class characteristics on the characteristics screen to one or more organizational areas which you have entered for the class.
The organizational areas are defined for the classes of one class type in classification system Customizing.
Examples
You assign the organizational area 'S' characteristics for proportion units/product units to the characteristics of a batch class that you want to use for proportion units/product units.
