Documentation
Definition
From the user perspective, a business object is a compilation of object types from a business application.
From a technical perspective, a business object primarily denotes a given implementation in which the particular object types are mapped. Accordingly, a business object usually stands for a particular root table and the corresponding number ranges.
Ideally, you should use the key from table TOJTB (Business Object Repository - BOR) to name a business object. If the business object is not in table TOJTB, you can use a free key .
Use
The search engine service provides generic support for the search engine-based search for such business objects and their object types.
Dependencies
Example
The business object Business Partner has the BOR number BUS1006 and implements the following object types:
1 - Person
2 - Organization
3 - Group
