Definition

Description of the path and file name in the file manager system where the original application files for the application are determined.

Dependencies

• In the standard system, you can call the file manager from the possible entries.
  The directory that has been specified in Customizing (Document Management -> Mount points/logical drives) for the combination of the data carrier type (computer of user) and data carrierr (storage location of original application file) is automatically opened.
• This field is not visible in the following situations:
• Storage in archive: system automatically determines the archive document ID
• Storage in vault: for security reasons, the system does not display the path
• If the application data is on a computer of a different data carrier type, enter this in the data carrier field. Using settings in Customizing (Document Management -> Mount points/logical drives), the system determines an additional part to the path for the computer combination and puts the path that has been determined before this part of the path.
