Definition
Determines the safety time that is less than one day.
Use
If you specify a percentage for moving the requirements, when bringing forward the requirements, the system splits the requirements quantity according to the percentage value and moves the partial quantity forward by another working day. In so doing, you can define the setting of the actual range of coverage in more detail.
Dependencies
The system takes account of the factory calendar when moving the requirements. That is, the system uses workdays for the calculation.
Example
If, for example, you want to maintain a safety time of 2.2 days for a certain material, you enter 2 (days) in the safety time field and 20 (Percent) in the Safety Time(%) field. The system splits a daily requirement of 100 pieces of the material with the requirements date 09.09.2004 as follows:
