Definition
The type of switch specifies what it is used for.
Use
The types have the following meanings:
SPACE: This switch can be used for all functions within the Switch Framework.
U: No packages can be assigned to a switch of type 'U'. Therefore this type has no effect on the activation of BC sets, Dictionary objects, or programs. After this switch is switched off, the system behaves in the same way as before the switch was switched on.
