Definition
The visibility of a business function set can take the three properties 'Selectable', 'Selectable (Implicit)', and 'Insertable'.
'Selectable':
Selectable business function sets can be selected directly in the Switch Framework system settings (transaction SFW5). All the business functions assigned to this business function set can be activated.
'Selectable (Implicit)':
Selectable business function sets can be selected directly in the Switch Framework system settings (transaction SFW5). All the business functions assigned to this business function set can be activated. In addition, for this business function set, all the Enterprise Extensions and Enterprise Business functions can be activated.
'Insertable':
This business function set cannot be selected directly in transaction SFW5. It is used for structuring selectable (explicit and implicit) business function sets. To be able to activate the business functions assigned to this business function set, this business function set must be assigned to a selectable business function set as a subordinate business function set, either directly or indirectly, using other insertable business function sets.
The default setting for newly created business function sets is 'Selectable (Implicit)'.
