Definition
Sum of all forecast errors in a historical sequence.
The forecast error is the difference between the actual value and the value forecast in the previous period. It can be positive or negative.
Procedure
The forecast error is determined by the system at the end of each period. Using the forecast error as a base, the system extrapolates the error total with the help of the delta factor in the material master record.
