Definition
In the parameter fields, the same elements can be used in the editor as for character string display.
Use
Parameters are only changed if a change was made in the parameter field. If individual parameters are too long for display on the popup due to nested functions, they are not displayed in full. When they are adopted into the formula, the entered parameters are kept.
The value help functions in the same way as the fields of the function or functions - that is, the value help supplies values only if all the previous parameters of the function have already been maintained. If not all the previous parameters are maintained, a more appropriate (syntactically more correct) proposal cannot be found.
Example
Examples of valid formula elements are:
Constant: 'XYZ'
Comment: "Comment"
Character string: 'XYZ'
Numbers with and without plus/minus signs, decimal figures, as well as floating point display
Operators: = <> * / + - usw.
Functions: CONCATENATE( )
Fields: SYST-UNAME
