Definition
A search interface is a pregenerated CUA interface whose menu entries represent a hierarchical arrangement of terms on a specific subject.
Clicking on one or several such terms triggers an index search through texts.
The terms are also used as descriptors for the texts stored for a specific search interface, that is on a particular subject, and are indexed along with the text.
Using the text descriptions, you can locate search terms from the pregenerated search interface, whose contents refer to these terms, but which do not contain the terms (in this form.
The texts are stored in SAPoffice.
All texts on a particular subject, i.e. all the texts for a particular search interface must be stored in one folder (in SAPoffice). In other words, each search interface may contain only one folder in SAPoffice.
The texts for a search interface are indexed under the relevant four-character search interface code that is to be entered into this field. The existence of the search interface is a prerequisite.
