Definition
SAPfind: Field for entry of a value for an attribute. The entered value must conform to the data type defined in the definition of the attribute. If the attributes are of type CHAR, wildcards can also be used, '*' standing for no, one or several characters and '+' for precisely one character.
If two input fields are defined in the selection screen for an attribute, an interval entry is possible. The following rules apply:
1. A discrete value must be entered in the first input field.
from: AAA to:
2. To specify an interval, you must make an
entry in both input fields.
Three variants are possible:
from: * to: AAA for all values
until AAA inclusive
from: AAA to: * for all values from AAA
(inclusive)
from: AAA to: BBB for all values from
AAA to BBB
All other types of input are either not allowed or are ignored.
