Information about the SCS status
Use
The SCS instance of a system provides the central services "Messaging" and "Locking". During the online kernel patch these services must be suspended for a short time (for SCS restart). To avoid errors later when processing within ABAP instances, all tasks that want to use SCS services are stopped during this time. Once the SCS has been successfully restarted, the server continues to run automatically.
