Definition

Controls whether a field can be changed in mandate management.

Possible values are:

  • Cannot be changed
  • Can be changed
  • Can be changed with the creation of a new version

Use

If the field can be changed, you also define whether the change is mapped by simply overwriting the old value, or whether a new version of the mandate is to be created.

If you change several fields at the same time, a new version of the mandate is created if you have specified that should happen for at least one of the fields that have been changed.

Example

You indicate the IBAN field of the sender as can be changed with version. When you change a field, the system stores the former data content of the mandate in one version, and the current version of the mandate contains the change.

You indicate the street of the sender field as can be changed. When you change the field, the system stores the new content of the field in the current version of the mandate.

You indicate the IBAN field of the sender as can be changed with version, and the street of the sender as can be changed. Both of these fields are then changed. The system then creates a current version of the mandate, containing all of the changes. The old version contains the data for the mandate before the change was made.
