The direction of the friend relationship defines whether the relationship has the type exposing or . An object type A makes its private components visible to another object type B in an exposing relationship. Conversely, B can use an accessing relationship to declare that it wants to use the private components of A. If both relationships exist, B can then access the private components of A.
