Documentation
Definition
Passwords can be guessed, and it is therefore necessary to limit the number of failed password logon attempts. Once the limit defined using this security policy attribute has been exceeded, a password lock is set; if a password lock is active, further attempts to log on using a password are blocked.
Use
Possible values: 1 - 99
This security policy attribute replaces profile parameter login/fails_to_user_lock.
Dependencies
You can set a time period for the duration of a password lock.
