Definition
When this option is selected, the runtime measurement must be explictly started and stopped. The explicit starting and stopping can be done either using programming or by selecting a corresponding menu entry.
(1) The runtime analysis can be switched on and off after the start of application to be measured from the transaction SAT using the menu functions under System -> Utilities -> Runtime Analysis, or using the OK Codes /ron and /roff.
(2) The runtime analysis can be switched on and off in the program using the statement SET RUN TIME ANALYZER ON/OFF in the source code.
While the application to be measured is running, only those sections between the explicit switching on and off are measured.
