Definition
If the value is "X", a new spool request is generated. If the value is " ", the system attempts to append to an existing spool request. To do this, the name, output device, number of print-outs, and the formatting must all match. The existing spool request must also not yet have been completed. This happens, for example, when a spool request is released for output. If no matching spool request is found, a new spool request is also created in this case.
