Definition
Name for DBA Cockpit
A liveCache or a MaxDB database that has been integrated using transaction LC11, DB11, LC10, or DB59 can also be monitored and administered using DBA Cockpit (transaction: DBACOCKPIT). More information about DBA Cockpit: SAP Notes 1027146 and 1028751.
Since the connection name in LC11, DB11, LC10, and DB59 can be up to 30 characters in length, but DBA Cockpit is restricted to 8 characters, you need to select a unique 8 character name for DBA Cockpit for long LC11/DB11/LC10/DB59 connection names.
