Definition
This attribute is only relevant to text fields and input/output fields that you use instead of a text field (attribute "input field" not set; attribute "output only" set).
If the attribute "Label left" is set, an assignment to the screen element on its right in the same row is displayed at runtime.
The text field becomes visible as a label of the screen element that follows after the text field (it is to the left of the text field).
There are standard mechanisms in operation for the attributes "label left" and "label right". These are described in note 494173. Using the menu function "Utilities -> Other Utilities -> Set Standard Attributes for Labels", you can set the attributes for the labels of a screen to standard.
