Definition

The specified number of lines and columns determines the screen size for maintenance purposes. The fullscreen editor is limited to this size. Fields, loops with subsequent lines, areas for include screens, graphical elements and controls may not exceed this.
The maintenance size is limited to
200 lines
255 columns
Up to and including Release 4.5, the default size was
21 lines
83 columns
From Release 4.6, the default setting is
27 lnes
120 columns.
It is advisable to decrease the maintenance size if you do not want to exceed the output size intended for windows.
