Definition

This setting applies only to templates (input/output fields) which do not have one of the formats TIMS, DATS, QUAN, CURR, DEC, INT1, INT2 or INT4.

If a field has the attribute "Scrollable", you can set a visible length which is shorter than the defined length. This effectively defines a smaller template on the screen. However, although some of the field contents are then displayed, you can still perform input and output operations in the defined length.

The field contents scroll within the smaller template when you reach the left or right limit.

The part of the field contents displayed when you output a field depends on the attribute "right-justified".
