Definition
Enter the text of a quick info here.
If the cursor is placed on the screen element at screen runtime, the quick info appears in an output window below the screen element after a short delay.
The quick info is bound to screen elements to which an icon is assigned. This is done by specifying an icon name in the "icon name" attribute.
Once you have selected the icon name using the value help, the system proposes a standard text as quick info. You can overwrite this text.
There is a second application for pushbuttons. You can define a text for a quick info even if no icon is assigned.
If the quick info text is empty, no quick info appears at runtime.
Specifying a text for the quick info has an influence on the value of the "defined length" attribute.
