Definition
Text fields (keywords) and input/output fields (templates) are normally displayed at runtime in proportional font. If the attribute "Fixed Font" is selected, the system displays them in fixed font at runtime instead.
The fixed font is also used in two special cases, even if this attribute is not selected. These are:
- For input fields where the attribute "Uppercase/lowercase" is not selected - that is, where lowercase letters entered at runtime are to be automatically converted into uppercase letters
- If a GUI higher that Release 6.20 is used and the field is very short (defined length <= 4)
As a rule, the GUI displays such fields in fixed font. For more details, refer to note number 616571.
