Documentation
Definition
You can create or update, and transport, activation links, when you activate BC Sets. You control the creation of activation links system-wide with the BC Set transaction system settings. To change these settings, you need authorization for the authorization object S_BCS ETS (see the authorization object documentation). Changes are effective immediately.
The following activation link settings are possible:
- 'Create + Transport':
Activation links are created in the activation system when you activate BC Sets, and are transported into subsequent systems, if the transport system is active. - 'Create Locally':
Activation links are created in the activation system when you activate BC Sets, but they are not transported, regardless of the system transport settings. This is the default setting, which you should use. - 'Do Not Create':
No activation links are created in the current system.
Caution
If you want to change the settings, you can find information about changing the setting to:
- 'Create + Transport' under Restricted Support for Activation Links in Subsequent Systems.
- 'Do Not Create' under Loss of Functionality when you Deactivate Activation Links.
