Documentation
Definition
In this column you specify whether a field in the table/view is to be put in the BC Set. If a field is selected, all displayed field values (in the column of this name in the data record selection) are put in the BC Set with the selected flag (Standard, Fix, Variable) when you save the BC Set.
If the field is not ready for input, it cannot be put in a BC Set. This could be because:
- View field: The field is not maintained in this view
Note: You can check this by examining the definition of the view in the Data Dictionary. In this case, the table containing the field does not have a foreign key dependency on the primary table of the view.
- The field has technical restrictions
- It has a length/width of more than 255 characters
- It is of type 'STRING' or 'XSTRING'
