Definition
Flagging a table/view field as Fix (unchangeable after activation) means that the value in the original table should not be changed after activation of the BC Set, or the business setting is lost.
If these data records contain data for a view, or a table with a generated maintenance dialog, you can no longer change these fields in the table maintenance (SM30, SM34) after activation. If these data records are in a database table (e.g. in an individual transaction or a logical object), this flag is only documentory, i.e. the maintenance transaction does not check for fied values.
