Definition
The definition of the character of an actor. A character concretely typecasts an actor at a location.
Use
The relation of wording of Screenplay to film business was already established in locations, actually is a central theme everywhere in Screenplay. A "character" of a an actor specifys its type, is the reference that describes how to handle it. In fact, a character is any kind of global typing ABAP knows, may it be the name of a data element, a structure or even of a class or interface.
The character of an actor is public and must be considered by stylists, directors and even the Screenplay itself. A stylist must be able to makeup an actor's character into what is needed for represention.
Dependencies
While a character describes the type of an actor its content is referred to as text. This fits the vocabulary of film makers pretty well and at the same time simply is the truth: All data you can think about is text in an abstract way, at least when it comes to its hexadecimal representation...
You'll find the phrase "text" in programmatical references like the stylists' interface IF_SCPL_STYLIST for instance.
