Definition

Specifies the possible types of processing to be carried out on billing documents sent in by a particular sold-to party.

The customer specifies a processing type by setting a status in the billing document which is then copied into intermediate document (IDoc).

The following types have been designed for self-billing with invoice creation:

  • Invoice
  • Credit memo for retroactive billing in the case of a decrease in prices
  • Debit memo for retroactive billing in the case of an increase in prices
  • Cancellations for invoices, credit memos and debit memos

    You do not necessarily need to define conditions for comparison in this case: the system does not take them into account.

    The system cancels the complete referenced billing document with its conditions.

  • Credit memo for correcting an overbilled amount
