Industry Validity
You use this option to specify the industries in which the object can be used. You have three options:
Valid for all industries
The object can be used in every industry. It is displayed in every SAP Reference Structure that is used to implement the R/3 System.
Valid for specified industries
You set this option if the object is only relevant in certain industries. In the SAP Reference Structure, the customer can set a filter to include selected industries. The system then displays only the objects that you have specified as valid for those industries.
Invalid for specified industries
You set this option if the object is not relevant in certain industries. In the SAP Reference Structure, the customer can set a filter to exclude selected industries. The system does not then display the objects that you have specified as invalid for those industries.
