Definition

The number of processed entities is an indicator of the progress of phases.

Use

An ATC run consists of several phases. Each phase performs a dedicated operation on data organized in sets. Phases can iterate over the entities of a set or add entities to a set. If a phase iterates over the entities of a set, then the runtime monitor contains information on how many entities are contained in the set and how many of these entities have already been processed.

Example

The phase "Check Objects" shall analyze programs. Thus far in this phase, 10 of 30 programs have been analyzed. The number of processed entities is 10.
