Definition
Optional RFC destination for exemption handling
Use
The purpose of this RFC destination is to provide a secure way to approve or reject exemptions in case you are using a generic user for the main RFC destination to the master system.
If you specify this additional RFC destination, it is used for approving and rejecting exemptions. The generic user that is used for this destination should therefore have the permissions which are necessary to do this. In contrast, the generic user that is used for the main RFC destination should not have these permissions.
An approver needs the following:
- The user role SAP_SATC_QE. (Please see quality manager authorizations for details.
To restrict this destination to approvers, do the following:
- In the approver RFC destination to the master system, enter the value
ATCXMPTin the Authorization for Destination field in the destination definition (transactionSM59). - Give approver users in the satellite development systems an authorization for authorization object
S_ICFICF_FIELD=DEST,ICF_VALUE=ATCXMPTN. This authorization is included in the approver role.
