Definition

With the profile parameters stat/tcode1 to stat/tcode5 , you can determine for which transactions the table access statistics are activated within the SAP statistics. By doing this, you can determine which database tables are used in a transaction, how many operations (reads, changes, and so on) are performed, and how long the time requirement for this is. You specify for which transactions the table access statistics should be valid in stat/tcode1 to stat/tcode5. Note that this logging is only performed if the profile parameter stat/tabrec is set.

By default, stat/tcode1 to stat/tcode5 all have the value <space>, that is, no transaction is specified. If no transaction is specified, and stat/tabrec is set its value is valid for all transactions. You should only activate the table statistics temporarily for individual analyses and for individual transactions, as otherwise performance problems can occur in the statistics collector.

A change to an online parameter is valid immediately. After a restart of the instance, the change is automatically reset. If you want to change an online parameter permanently, change the corresponding value in transaction RZ11 (Profile Parameter Maintenance).
