Documentation
Definition
You can use the parameter stat/tabrec to activate the table access statistics within the SAP statistics. By doing so, you can determine which database tables are used in a transaction, how many operations (reads, changes, ...) are performed, and how long the time requirement for this is. Note that the table access statistics are only valid for the transaction codes named in profile parameters stat/tcode1 to stat/tcode5. If no transaction codes are named, stat/tabrec is valid for all transactions.
By default, stat/tabrec has the value 0. You should only activate the parameter temporarily for individual analyses and individual transactions, as performance problems can otherwise occur in the statistics collector.
A change to an online parameter is valid immediately. After a restart of the instance, the change is automatically reset. If you want to change an online parameter permanently, change the corresponding value in transaction RZ11 (Profile Parameter Maintenance).
