Definition
Maximum number of statistics records for background steps that can be written during the runtime of a background job. Normally, every step of a background job is represented by a statistics record of this type.
By default, up to 50 background steps are recorded.
A change to an online parameter is valid immediately. After a restart of the instance, the change is automatically reset. If you want to change an online parameter permanently, change the corresponding value in transaction RZ11 (Profile Parameter Maintenance).
