Definition
Instructs the system to post the entered quantity as excess component consuption and not as scrap. A goods issue movement type is used for the posting. The production activities for assembling the component are also posted.
Use
You must select this indicator if, in the current workstep, the components required for the production of the assembly are damaged.
Example
The hard disk is damaged during the assembly of a PC. The damaged hard disk is posted as excess consumption and the production activities for the hard disk installation are also posted.
Procedure
If you select this indicator, enter the number of damaged components in the scrap field.
