Definition
The type of posting for the production activities is recorded in the document log. There are four possibilities for posting the production activities:
The production activities can be posted immediately in dialog in which case the field in the document log remains empty.
If you have set the separated backflush in Customizing, the production activities can be posted immediately and automatically in the update task. That is, in the separated backflush screen (01). Or, they can be posted later in the background (02). Using the separated backflush, you can avoid queue times and you can also proceed with other functions while the postings are being carried out.
The indicator "P" is displayed when the system has completed posting the production activities.
