Documentation

Definition

Identifies the issue storage location in the pull list (for example, the central warehouse) for stock transfers to the issue storage location in production.

Supplementary Documentation - SA_ELORT 0001

Use

Enter a range of values if you already know the issuing storage locations that can be used for the stock transfer. This range of values will be taken into account in the pull list when generating the stock transfer proposals.

Furthermore, a restricted range of values can have a favorable effect on the selection.

A range of values entered here, has no effect on the quantity of the components displayed in the pull list.

Use

A range of values entered here limits the quantity of components displayed in the pull list as follows:

  • Components produced in-house (materials that have been given the procurement type for in-house production in the material master record) are only displayed in the list if the issue storage location maintained in the material master record lies within this range of values.
  • Components that are procured externally (materials that have been given the procurement type for external procurement in the material master record) are only displayed in the list if the storage location for external procurement maintained in the material master record lies within this range of values.
  • Components that can be procured externally and produced in-house are only displayed in the pull list if the issue storage location or the storage location for external procurement lies within the range of values.
  • If the procurement types has not been maintained for a material in the material master record, then this material is not displayed in the pull list if a range of values has been specified.

No further logic for the generation of replenishment proposals in the pull list is connected with this. When determining the replenishment storage locations that are to be used last you should use stock determination there.

Use

Entering a value area here limits the number of components displayed in the pull list as follows:

  • Components produced in-house (materials with procurement type "in-house production" in the material master record) are only listed if their production storage location maintained in the material master record lies within this value area.
  • Components procured externally (materials with procurement type "external procurement" in the material master record) are only listed if their external procurement storage location maintained in the material master record lies within this value area.
  • Components that can be procured by either in-house production or by external procurement are only listed if the production storage location or the external procurement storage location lies within the value area.
  • If you have not maintained a procurement type for a component in the material master record, this component is not displayed if you specify a value area here.

No further logic exists in the creation of replenishment proposals in the pull list. To determine the exact replenishment storage locations to be used, use stock determination.
