Definition
The production period limits the quantity of the production orders to be selected.
The system will only select the production orders for which the period between the scheduled start date and scheduled finish date falls completely or partially into the production period specified here.
Use
The system then uses these production orders to determine the relevant components for the pull list (if necessary with BOM explosion).
If you do not specify the start date or the finish date of the production period, then the period taken into account - either in the past or in the future - stretches into infinity.
