Definition
The production period limits the quantity of the run schedule headers and planned orders to be selected.
- The system will only take the run schedule headers into account whose period of validity falls completely or partially into the specified production period.
- For these run schedule headers, the system only selects the planned orders for which the following is valid: the period between the order start date and order finish date falls completely or partially into the production period specified here.
Use
The system then uses these planned orders to determine the relevant components for the pull list (if necessary with BOM explosion).
If you do not specify the start date or the finish date of the production period, then the period taken into consideration - either in the past or in the future stretches into infinity.
