• activities based on the preliminary costing (version-specific costing) for the product cost collector
• activities based on the standard cost estimate for the material.

Use

Depending on this indicator, you can either backflush the activities on the basis of the preliminary costing for the product cost collector or on the basis of the standard cost estimate for the material.

If activities are to be backflushed according to the preliminary costing, the simultaneous costing in Cost Object Controlling is based on this data.

You can also valuate work in process and scrap on the basis of this preliminary costing. For this purpose, you must define the following valuation variants in Customizing for Product Cost by Period:
