Definition
Specifies the total missing quantity without taking temporary shortages into account.
This corresponds to the quantity:
Total requirement + minimum stock - total receipt quantity
as long as a shortage situation exists.
The quantity corresponds to the cumulated missing quantity 1 of the last planning element at planning element level.
(Replenishment proposals are not taken into account here.)
Use
- This quantity represents the upper limit for the replenishment proposals created by the system. If additional temporary shortages exist, you may have to carry out a manual planning run.
- Note the use within the missing quantity status of the supply segment.
