Documentation
Definition
Specifies the number of takts until the assembly of the component. This only applies to repetitive manufacturing with requirements from SAP APO.
A requirement whose order is exactly one takt before assembly is given the sequence number 1, for example. A requirement whose order is directly at the assembly location is given the sequence number zero.
Negative sequence numbers exist for requirements which have already been physically assembled but for which the stock posting has not yet been completed.
The corresponding requirement quantity is included as a negative quantity in the calculated physical stock.
Note
The system can only determine sequence numbers and therefore exact stock per takt if certain prerequisites have been fulfilled. For more details, refer to the SAP Library.
